Where does the data come from?

Every figure is built from publicly available Etsy listings and shops, the same information anyone can see on Etsy. Research needs no Etsy connection at all. Connecting your own shop is optional, and only verifies that it is yours so you get the My Shop owner view.

How accurate are the revenue estimates?

Treat them as directional, not exact. Etsy keeps real revenue private, so we model it from public signals like sales counts, views, and price. Every shop is measured the same way, so the numbers stay fair to compare against each other.

Radar ranks the Etsy shops and listings we track by how fast they are moving right now. Shop sales in Radar are counted, not estimated: Etsy publishes each shop's running sales count, and Radar reads it every week, so the difference between readings is sales that really happened. It covers a large group of tracked shops rather than all of Etsy, and says so.

Is this allowed under Etsy's terms?

Our research tools use publicly available information, the same information anyone can see on Etsy. An optional My Shop connection uses Etsy OAuth to verify ownership. We never receive your Etsy password or retain private seller data. You remain responsible for your own use of the data, and for complying with Etsy's terms.

Is it really free to start?

Yes. The free plan gives you monthly lookups across every tool and the top 25 of any Radar view, free forever. Upgrade to Light or Max when you need higher limits or the full Radar panel.
